Prerequisite : You need to have a Slack Account
1. You can set a reminder for yourself from any Slack message. Slackbot will send you a reminder about the message at the time of your choosing.
- Hover over a message or file.
- Click the More actions icon on a message or file.
- Hover over Remind me about this. Then, choose a timeframe from the list or select Custom to set your own.
2. You can use /remind command to set a reminder for yourself, someone else or a channel.
Syntax: /remind [@someone or #channel] [what] [when]

This sets a reminder named “Ask HR” for the channel Zooplahr once every Thursday 3PM

This sets a reminder names 'Take a break' Mon-Fri 11.30AM for Sile Mani
How to disable reminder for an event on Slack using Slackbot
Enter "/remind list" (without the quotes) into the channel. This will show all recurring reminders in that channel.
Click on delete to disable reminders
