Manually re-signing back into Houseful Slack
Overview
Following work performed on the evening of 31st January 2025, Houseful Slack's workspace URL has changed from zoopla.slack.com to houseful.slack.com.
Usually, when you are prompted to re-sign back in to Houseful Slack - typically symbolised by a yellow triangle next to the workspace's icon

- clicking it should take you to a login screen where you will be asked to Sign in with Houseful Azure AD.
In the event that this doesn't happen, please follow these instructions for manual remediation.
Logging Back in with Dedicated Slack Workspace URL
Step 1
After attempting to sign back in to Houseful Slack by clicking the warning triangle in the Slack application,

you may be brought to the following screen.

If so, in the same browsing session, copy and paste the following URL - https://app.slack.com/ssb/workspace-signin?s=1&v=4.42.115&ssb_vid=.354b1e7923a9a887b9c473365f58c7e9&ssb_instance_id=6a415588-738d-4f70-b5cf-fff24aeb61ef. Press Enter.
Step 2
Type in houseful on the Sign in to your workspace screen. Click Continue.

Step 3
On the next screen, select Sign in with Houseful Azure AD.
This will take you through the process of signing into your Houseful/Zoopla Azure AD account.

Step 4
Once you have successfully reauthenticated your Azure login, this screen will appear.
If a prompt pops up titled Open Slack?, tick the box that reads Always allow houseful.slack.com to open links of this type in the associated app.
Select Open Slack.

If the prompt doesn't appear, Slack will continue the login and switch to your Slack desktop application when successful.
Step 5
You should now be successfully re-logged back into Houseful Slack through the Slack desktop app.

If this method doesn't work for you, please follow the below instructions.
Manual Remediation (if you are signed in to just Houseful Slack in the Slack desktop app)
IMPORTANT: If you are only signed into Houseful Slack when using the Slack desktop application, please follow this set of instructions.
If you are logged into more than one Slack workspace, please skip ahead to the next set of instructions further below titled Manual Remediation (if you are signed into one or more Slack workspaces in the Slack desktop app).
Step 1
Sign out from Houseful Slack by selecting your avatar in the bottom-left of the window of the Slack desktop application.

Select Sign out of Houseful.
Step 2
When you are signed out, the Slack desktop app will display this screen.

AND
it will also open a new tab in your web browser displaying this page.

Close the tab that opens automatically in your web browser.
Select Sign in to Houseful as shown on the first screenshot in this step.
Step 3
This will then open the following screen in your web browser.
Select Sign in with Houseful Azure AD.
This will take you through signing into your Zoopla/Houseful Azure AD profile.

Step 4
Once you have successfully reauthenticated your Azure login, this screen will appear.
If a prompt pops up titled Open Slack?, tick the box that reads Always allow houseful.slack.com to open links of this type in the associated app.
Select Open Slack.

If the prompt doesn't appear, Slack will continue the login and switch to your Slack desktop application when successful.
Step 5
You should now be successfully re-logged back into Houseful Slack through the Slack desktop app.

Manual Remediation (if you are signed into one or more Slack workspaces in the Slack desktop app)
Step 1
Sign out from Houseful Slack by selecting your avatar in the bottom-left of the window of the Slack desktop application.

Select Sign out of Houseful.
Doing this will open a new tab in your web browser displaying this page.

Close this tab.
Step 2
Ensure that the last Google Chrome window that was in focus is the browser session where you are logged in with your Houseful/Zoopla Azure AD profile.
This step will direct you to open a link in a web browser, and Slack will open this link in the last Chrome browser session that was in focus.
Switch back to the Slack desktop application where you'll still be logged into any other Slack workspaces you use.
Follow this path:
Select the Hamburger menu icon in the top-left of the window (i.e. the triple bar ≡ or trigram symbol ☰) ➡️ File ➡️ Workspace ➡️ Sign in to another workspace...
Select Sign in to another workspace...

Step 3
This will open a new tab in your web browser where this screen will appear.
Select Sign in manually instead.

Step 4
On the next screen, type houseful into the Workspace Slack URL box, then click Continue.

Step 5
On the next screen, select Sign in with Houseful Azure AD.
This will take you through signing into your Zoopla/Houseful Azure AD profile.

Step 6
When this screen appears, tick the box that reads Always allow houseful.slack.com to open links of this type in the associated app.
Select Open Slack.

If the prompt doesn't appear, Slack will continue the login and switch to your Slack desktop application when successful.
Step 7
You should now be successfully re-logged back into Houseful Slack through the Slack desktop app.
